Laying The Foundations 

(Pre-Launch Initiative)

Before initiating our 6-month launch timeline, we will establish the foundation for Immersion Church Farmville through several key initiatives:

Farmville needs more than just another church—it needs compassionate hearts willing to serve. We're looking for everyday people who'll help us reach those searching for peace and purpose in our community. If you have a servant's heart and want to make a real difference in lives around you, we need you on this journey.

1. Church Framework: Complete essential administrative setup, develop vision documentation, establish prayer support network, and submit formal Church of God authorization request to obtain an official file number.

2. Strategic Relationships: Build connections with community leaders including the Farmville and Longwood Police Chiefs, Sheriff's Office, Mayor, and local business leaders to understand community needs and establish credibility.

3. Community Engagement: Initiate "Coffee with the Pastor" social media campaign, conduct demographic-specific community questionnaires (college students, working families, seniors), and connect with local funeral homes to offer volunteer chaplain services.

4. Leadership and Launch Team Development: Begin identifying and recruiting servant leaders passionate about ministering to the underserved, with a focus on practical training for sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission.

5. Mobile Ministry Launch: Convert a school bus into a multifunctional outreach vehicle serving as a mobile food pantry, clothing closet, and baptism site—creating immediate community impact.

6. Specialized Outreach: Begin preparations for recovery ministry using Living Free curriculum and Financial Literacy Classes based on Financial Peace University concepts.

7. Evangelism Focus: Establish personal evangelism as a core value of our church culture, implementing Evangelism Explosion curriculum to equip every member with the tools to effectively share their faith as a lifestyle rather than just an activity.

Our approach prioritizes servant leadership, practical community needs, and sharing the Gospel through both word and deed, laying groundwork for a Spirit-filled church community focused on transformation and active evangelism.
